L'essential est invisible pour les yeux.
Where there is a will, there is a way.
Everyone is different, that's why we need each other.

Life itself is a treasure.

【Life lesson】 Happiness, Trust, Connevtion
I am the eldest child in my family.

I was born two weeks early in a hospital in which my grandfather worked.

I was deeply loved by my family.
We lived near a shrine.

When I was a toddler, I loved all living things, shrines, picture books and cream puffs.

I disliked sunsets because it was like a big mountain fire.

I strongly felt that I was guarded by invisible beings.

It was peaceful days.

This was when I learned about happiness, trust and connection which is my foundation.

a

【Life lesson】 Diversity, Free Expression, Pray, Forgiveness
When I was around 4 years old, I experienced the most challenging time in my whole life. My circumstances continually changed: my brother's birth, moving to Western Japan from Eastern Japan, enrolling in a Christian kindergarten.

In my kindergarten days, I was picked on so much because of my "strange" Tokyo dialect. It was my first experience with diversity. Because of the high stress, I had warts on my hands and was diagnosed with pertussis. The throat is related to the fifth chakra and the ability to express.Playing piano, praying, and correspondence with my grandmother saved me in such a difficult situation. Before moving back to Eastern Japan, I could forgive the ringleader of the bullies, and this experience as one of the most important experiences in my whole life.

a

【Life lesson】 Leadership, Sincererity, Curiosity
My family moved back to Eastern Japan, so my life flow had changed very much.

In my elementary school days, I was told that I was a leader by both teachers and classmates. I experienced the leader's role and I was always at the center of people's circles. I developed a close relationship with a particular first-grade teacher. I sometimes felt a deep connection between us even after moving to another elementary school. We often had serendipitous chance meetings on the train..

I was very curious about learning about new things. I loved to study.
I dreamed to be a writer and an astronaut.

Even in difficult times, I could find my friends in books or in stars in the sky.

a

【Life lesson】 My pace, Authentic Self
I spent my junior high and high school days in a private girl's school.

I found two big keywords which encapsulated my mission; Communication and Heartmind.

I dreamed of being a dolphin, a journlaist and a psychiatrist. I loved writing my opinions, studying geography, Japanese and making TV and radio programs through my school's broadcasting club. I sometimes disliked history because it is at times far away from the truth.

I was very interested in post-genocide Cambodia. I was especially intrigued about how people stand up again. I interviewed many organizations and read over a hundred books about that issue.

In this stage of my life, I learned how important it is to always be true to myself.

a

【Life lesson】 Take actions, Keep on doing
I went to a university in Japan. I thought that I should know more about Japaneseness and the essence of Japanese culture, as a springboard to work globally.

Therefore, I majored in Japanese literature.

I studied literature and art at university, not business. But I have used it in my work as a kind of spice.

Besides study, I did writing, editing, teaching and sales for part-time work.

I had planned to go to graduate school someday, so I studied earnestly to get good grades. For these four years, I really loved a variety of art and French.

To make a high pyramid, we need a wide base. I intentionally had a variety of interests to widen myself.

a

【Life lesson】 Love myself, Heal myself
I started to work in an advertising and then a food company. Then I radically changed my path and became a freelancer.

I got a lot of opportunities to know about myself more through colorful experiences.

I learned how important it was to love myself and heal myself through these experiences.

In 2000, I found a coaching book in a bookstore. It was the dawn of coaching.

Through books, I could see a vision of my future as a freelance coach.

And also, through career change, I realized that I was just a company worker rather than a member of society.

I was in a small box.

a

【Life lesson】 Integration, Possibilities
I entered graduate school.

Because I was attracted to Kagurazaka, a local community, which was open to outsiders.

At the same time, I slowed down the speed of my life successfully to change course like a big ship.

I explored possibilities to work in non-profit organizations, foreign companies and volunteer activities before being a freelancer.

Finally I truly decided to be a freelance coach and worked with my coach for the last half year of my graduate school days because I needed to experience coaching as a client.

In this stage of my life, I deeply felt how many unlimited possibilities we have.

We can be anything at any age.

a

【Life lesson】 Remember, Transform, Stay
After I started to work as a freelancer, I remembered my hopes which I had when I was 3 years old, to have friends everywhere on Earth.

After building my foundation as a coach, I started to study English to realize my 3 year old hopes.I started to work with my coach who is a native English speaker.

Also I discovered that I needed others teachers in other areas of my life.

I found a shortcut to make my dream visible. I took part in a leadership program in Spain and made friends from 18 countries. I learned how important it is for staying together in the present rather than just understanding each other. Staying is love itself.

I could transform myself as if a caterpillar turns into a butterfly.

a

【Life lesson】 Entertain, Trust my body
I started to live as a global citizen with clarity.

And I realized that I needed to connect with the essence of Japan deeply.

For that, I wanted to connect with the Asuka Period (592-710) and if I lived in Kyoto, it would be easier to connect to it than living in Tokyo. Therefore I moved to Kyoto and now I am based in both Tokyo and Kyoto.

I am surrounded by mountains, a big river and bamboo forests now, so it is easy to connect with nature. It awakens my body. I am more connected to my body and remembered my wish which I have had since I was a young child.

This reconnection has reminded me how much I enjoyed entertaining as a child, and confirmed how important enjoying life and laughter is important in my life.
